'twas then when the hurdy-gurdy man came singing songs

Last week on National Public Radio's program All Things Considered, they had an interesting item about a Swedish duo called Hurdy Gurdy, who play music on — no surprise here — the hurdy-gurdy. They've released their first album, and it sounds very interesting. Listen to the NPR item, and see what you think. I certainly plan to look for the album.

Also, on Tuesday NPR reviewed a new David Gilmour album that sounds good — very much like the vintage Pink Floyd that forms Gilmour's roots.
