The Washington Post reports today on an investigation into theft of software disks containing software for the Diebold voting machines in Maryland. While I've said before that hiding the software is a bad mechanism for security, Diebold has insisted that the physical protection of the voting system is a key security mechanism... and this definitely kicks open their door.
And from today's Leanord Lopate show on WNYC radio, you can listen to Roy Saltman and Avi Rubin talk about electronic voting machines with host Mr Lopate and with listeners.
