Here's a little bit of fun. A guy who calls himself Cairnarvon has a blog page that he calls The Raven Project. The deal is this:
If you have a microphone, I would like you to record yourself reciting a verse of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven".For fun, though I'm not in his circle of friends, I decided to do one — The Raven is one of my favourite poems. So you can hear me reciting the penultimate verse, number 17, on Cairnarvon's page.
For some reason, I'm reminded of the "classic" reading from the first Halloween episode of The Simpsons, "Treehouse of Horror". Watch it here, on YouTube.
