A man delusional

King George was on the TV show 60 Minutes last evening. I didn't watch it: first, I didn't know he was on it, but second, I can't really stomach watching the man. I heard some excerpts on NPR this morning. The one that struck me the most, as a demonstration of Dubya's delusions, was this one:
I think I'm a flexible, open-minded person, I really do.
Further words fail.

From The (London) Times, another Shrub quote from yesterday: [That toppling Saddam was not a mistake.] “We liberated that country from a tyrant. I think the Iraqi people owe the American people a huge debt of gratitude and I believe most Iraqis express that.”

Just when you think he's reached the limit of stupid remarks, he beats his own sad record with yet another example. To paraphrase an acquaintance: "Not only did Bush fall out of the stupid tree, but he hit all of the branches on the way down."

Our Prez also said something to the effect that "I [Bush] take responsibility. People are looking for a scapegoat, and I'm the scapegoat."

Even as he claims responsibility, he denies it (scapegoat).
