You can't ski, so read

It's been a warm and snowless winter here in the northeastern US. We've had not a flake of snow in the New York City area and the lower Hudson Valley, where I live... and the ski areas are troubled.

The local library, though, has a different approach:

That's funny, becuase in the Pacific Northwest we've had more snow and ice so far this winter than in the past few years combined.
