Doubting Thomas

Hm.

Years ago, Clarence Thomas was accused of sexual harassment, and that’s recently resurfaced.

This week, the sexual harassment case against Isiah Thomas has completed, finding him liable.

And now it turns out that an Alabama judge, Herman Thomas, has resigned amid accusations of sexual “improprieties”.

I mean, I’m not saying there’s any real pattern here, or anything. I’m just noting....

Seriously, the pattern is that men in powerful positions are still making life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness — and employment — uncomfortable for women. The good news is that we're taking the complaints seriously, at least more seriously and more often than we used to. The bad news is that they continue to think they can get away with it, which certainly means that they often do.
