And there it is, at the moment I post this: the counter on the left says 366 days, zero hours, zero minutes, zero seconds. One year (it's a leap year). Exactly. One year until noon Eastern Standard Time on the 20th of January, 2009, when George Bush will stop staining the office of the President of the United States, forever.

Your ticker also shows those of us on the West Coast that he's going out of office at noon, even though our clocks are set on Pacific Time. Probably not worth the trouble to fix, though -- I really don't mind if it's a little pessimistic.
