I don’t know whether this is a complete joke, or, in any case, whether it will pass, but it seems that there’s a movement afoot in San Francisco (where else, for this?) to rename a local water treatment plant to the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.
How fitting, if it works out.
I like what one of the organizers says about it: “Most politicians tend to be narcissistic and egomaniacs. So it is important for satirists to help define their history rather than letting them define their own history.”
Indeed.
It reminds me of an old (old, old) issue of Mad magazine, in which they had an item called “Commemorative Stamps We’d Like to See”. It included the Richard M. Nixon Postage Due Stamp.

This reminds me of a cover from Private Eye (English satirical magazine) many years ago. It was a photograph of Mrs Thatcher bearing a decidedly disgusted expression, with the caption: "Sewage strike - Maggie steps in".
Priceless.
The only thing that bothers me about naming a sewage treatment plant after our idiot in chief is that it sort of puts the cart before the horse, so to speak. A sewage treatment plant cleans up the sewage whereas gwb generates the sewage.
