Everyone seems to be creaming their pants at this little thing he's said. If he says this now, just imagine what he'll say if he gets re-elected.

One day, I suspect in my lifetime, we will have an elected president who is proud to be a non-believer, and is accepted as a matter of course, in the way that other candidates and presidents of minority faiths have come to be accepted.

Perhaps we'll even manage to have an openly GLBT president, although I'm less optimistic of that happening in my lifetime.
